The New Home Company Announces Model Home Grand Opening for First Community in San Diego

Promontory features two neighborhoods totaling 133 attached homes on an elevated site within Civita, an emerging master-planned community in the heart of Mission Valley.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Representing its first collection of residences in San Diego, The New Home Company (NEW HOME) (NYSE: NWHM) today announced the Model Home Grand Opening for Promontory, set for this Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Promontory is in the 230-acre master-planned community of Civita in Mission Valley. Civita is being developed by Sudberry Properties in partnership with the Grant family which has owned the land since the early 1900s.

Promontory is set atop almost nine acres of land at the highest point of Civita, featuring 133 three-story and single-story attached homes in two neighborhoods: The Heights and The Bluffs. This Sunday, NEW HOME will debut a total of eight model homes for the two distinct product types.

The Heights, designed by Woodley Architectural Group, offer 93 Courtyard Townhomes in two and three-story layouts ranging from 1,401 to 2,015 square feet with up to three bedrooms and three and one-half baths. Prices at The Heights begin in the mid-$600,000s.

The Bluffs, also designed by Woodley Architectural Group, offer 40 single-story flats and three-story attached homes in 1,584 to 2,188 square feet with up to three bedrooms and two and one-half baths. Prices at The Bluffs begin in the low $900,000s.

The modern residences at Promontory were designed with special attention and care given to capturing and framing the unobstructed views through floor-to-ceiling windows, great rooms and master bedrooms oriented toward the valley below, and oversized patios and decks that enhance the overall indoor/outdoor living experience.

NEW HOME has been one of the most active home builders in California since the company was formed in 2009. It launched a successful pre-sales campaign at Promontory last fall.
